PUKEMOKEMOKE PLANTING REMINDER Saturday June 20 at 1:00 pm.
The season for planting, which everyone loves, is here. This month's working bee is all planting and regeneration. Something really positive to banish approaching winter blues.
Take a little time to follow this link and read about the repair to the lookout tower stairs. They had seen too many summers (like many of us) so a group of us set to and rejuvenated them.

GENERATION ZERO
Generation Zero Waikato want you to know about their current campaign (closing on June19th)
As part of the current Bike Plan consultation (running until June 19th), Hamilton City Council are proposing a School Link bike route connecting multiple schools in the East Hamilton area.
Generation Zero is a nationwide youth climate advocacy organisation that campaigns around better transport and urban issues. We have identified the School Link as a high priority project and set up a quick submission form to make it easy for people to share their views.
We have a survey/feedback form:
http://www.generationzero.org/schoollink
which we invite you to share .The message we are trying to push to council is that with high quality biking links, more kids will bike to school
What is the school link?
A safe bike route, separated from traffic and parked cars
An accessible link that connects 15 schools with almost 9500 students
A trunk route along Hukanui/Peachgrove Road
Part of making biking a normal part of day-to-day life
