This Wednesday, 9 September from 7pm - 8.30pm at the Waikato Environment Centre we will holding the Sustainable Living Conversation about Resilience. You're all very welcome to join us!
Come on down, the kettle will be on!
Resilience is the capacity to adapt successfully in the face of threats or disaster. Learn how to prepare for civil emergencies and how communities can work together to plan for stability.
Community Constable Craig Taylor will introduce us to some great community initiatives that are happening right here in our neighbourhood. Clementine from Waikato TimeBank will showcase the Waikato Time Bank and its role in promoting community resilience.
