Predator Control with Volunteers

Saturday 16th August, Ngaruawahia Community House, 13 Galileo St, Ngaruawahia.

Designed as an introduction to animal pest control, this Predator Control Workshop will provide you with the skills to implement an effective predator control programme in your area. Topics covered include baseline monitoring, how to set up monitoring and trapping lines, safe handling of traps and keeping records. (2.5 hrs).

Complete with free handbook, this workshop follows on from the previous 'Keeping Volunteers Safe and Productive' workshop and provides more detail and practical information on how groups can use a simple but effective Risk Assessment process- and documentation- to keep volunteers safe. (2.5 hrs)
